Traveler’s Quest Privacy Policy

Kitty Code respects your privacy and the purpose for which our players provide us information. We do not share, sell, or rent any of the information collected to any third parties and do not intend to do so in the future.

Information Collected

Email
If you request or submit information to us by sending an Email via the “mail to:” function or filling out a “contact” form, we may save your Email address as well as any other information you may provide. In addition, your email address may be used to transfer your account from device to device automatically through the game.┬áThis information may be used to contact you in the future by mail, Email, or phone to convey information about our apps or services that we feel may benefit you. Your Email and other information you provide will not be sold to any third party.

Location Information
Traveler’s Quest is a location based game which uses your GPS location to determine your distance from other players, and objects inside the game. Your location is transmitted to our servers through a secure connection for this purpose alone. When burying, digging, buying or selling a treasure, the location of the treasure is saved in the treasure’s history, allowing others to see where that treasure has been.

OUR POLICIES CONCERNING CHILDREN
Our apps and games are not intended for children under the age of 13 and We do not knowingly collect any personal information from such children. Children under the age of 13 should not use our apps or games at any time. In the event that We learn that We have inadvertently gathered personal information from children under the age of 13, We will take reasonable measures to promptly erase such information from our records.

Location Sharing Options
As a player, you have the option of turning off location sharing. This option will remove you from other player’s news, keeping them from seeing you “hunting in their neighborhood”, however your location is still sent to our servers through a secure connection, as it is a requirement to play the game.

Unique Identifier (UDID)
In Traveler’s Quest, each “Treasure Detector” is a unique iOS device. Your device’s UDID is transferred to our servers through a secure connection, and is associated with your player profile. Your device’s UDID is used strictly for the game and is not shared outside of our servers.

Social Media and Game Center
If shared with us, your Game Center ID and Facebook ID will be securely transferred and saved in our database as well as on your device. If you decide to remove your Facebook or Game Center association from the game, it will also be removed from our database. This information is used for the sole purpose of allowing you to quickly and easily login to these services through secure connections to those services, and is not used or transmitted in any other way.

Other ways we use your data
From time to time, your information will be used for statistical purposes, allowing us to get a graphical overview of where our players are from a city/state level or greater. One such map can be found on our Facebook page here: World Wide Players. In addition, we plan to implement the collection of device type and iOS version, which will help us support players better and plan for future enhancements.

Legally Compelled Disclosure of Information
Kitty Code may disclose information when legally compelled to do so; in other words, when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights.
