• September 16, 2008 Hurricane v1.0, our first iPhone application, submitted to Apple for review.
• September 24, 2008 Hurricane v1.0 was made available on the iTunes store for general release to the public.
• The application was widely accepted, and we received great feedback on updates the users wanted to see as well as an over all 3.5 star rating in the iTunes App Store.
• September 26, 2008 – Article: iPTIB Shops the App Store
• October 9, 2008 Hurricane v1.1 was submitted to Apple for review.
• October 16, 2008 Hurricane v1.1 was made available on the iTunes store for general release to the public. This release included a new base map for improved tracking, active storms now detail when they were last updated, wind speed is now displayed next to the storm plots for increased readability, and satellite page includes NEPacific.
• We received two more 5 star ratings in the iTunes App Store pulling our average back up to 4.5 stars. This rating shows the pride we put into the product, and the effort it takes to make great applications. THANK YOU!
• January 12, 2009 Hurricane named 2008 Excellence Award Winner by iPhoneFootprint.com.
• January 19, 2009 Hurricane was featured in the Orlando Sentinel’s Business Monday edition online and in print.
